PlayScan is owned by the Swedish monopoly Svenska Spel, who has been somewhat critical to RAY’s recent decision to expand their monopoly into the online gambling world in Finland. The program looks at a number of factors, developing an accurate analysis for gaming behavior by taking into consideration cognitive, and decision making indicators to come up with mental and predictive data. ”PlayScan is a strategically important decision for RAY as we are now entering the online market and meeting our customers in a new environment," said Perakyla. "By offering this tool, we will provide our players with the best way of controlling and tracking their own gaming activities.” The chairman for PlayScan’s licensing seemed just as exciting to be entering into the partnership, with Anders Hagg saying they were very proud to enter into cooperation with RAY.
