Online gamblers are relatively communicative about which sites are their favorites and which sites to stay away from, as exemplified by the success of internet casino forums and information sites such as this one. So it should come as no surprise that fast is spreading the news to stay away from one online casino in particular, as gamblers warn one another that ‘Heroes Casino’ doesn’t even come close to living up to their name, fast developing a reputation for a site no good for payouts, having denied multiple players for their deserved jackpots.

The name comes with someone a twist of irony, given that the casino is more the villain than the hero, but such is the case. The first indicator of problems came in relation to the unfortunate troubles of one online blackjack player who was denied his winnings of $38,000 by the casino, which was powered by Gale Winds internet casino software at the time. They issued a slew of excuses why they were not liable to pay out the winnings, with one of the most drastic being an accusation that the blackjack win was a malfunction of the software, a claim that Gale Winds did not appreciate.

The programming company went so far in their defense to open up their backoffices and software platforms to third party examination, an offer that was never accepted by Heroes Casino. Gale went one step further, an made sure that the player was paid out his $38,000 despite the operator’s refusal, before canceling their relationship with Heroes, withdrawing licensing and leaving the online casino out to dry, offline. The loss was noted as a big one for Gale, as they only had two licensees at the time, and still stepped up to do the honorable thing when the casino wouldn’t.

Apparently, Heroes Casino went back online for some time, finding software though another company, but has gone back down in recent weeks, following a flood of complaints for winnings not paid. According to reports, the issue encompasses multiple accusations, totaling to $150,000 with some individual claims going as high as $5,000. Of course, no comment has been available from Heroes, though they are still down.
