Yet another online gambling company
managed to meet or exceed all of the standards set forth by eCOGRA this
week with the announcement and confirmation that Austrian internet casino
gaming developer GreenTube IES AG has received accreditation for the
security organization. The Greentube firm is just the latest company to
earn the eCOGRA Seal of Approval, a sign that they are a trustworthy
organization that takes the utmost care to ensure that all of their
development is done with both operators’ and player’ security first and
foremost in mind. The confirmation was received this week that Greentube passed the inspection exams submitted by eCOGRA, which continues to be the most recognized names in accreditations. An independent player protection and standards body, eCOGRA’s Seal of Approval is not easy to earn, and therefore can be very valuable to an expanding company. Their application process leads to detailed inspections carried out by audit task managers, to ensure that all software development as well as management control systems are exceedingly compliant with standards set forth by the international non-profit. The application for Greentube actually began in their Vienna base in the fall of 2009, taking a year to complete. All aspects of all of their online gambling programming were examined, including the games associated with their online bingo offering, poker software and online casino selection. Greentube passed the test on all fronts. “We have recently passed the test for European Gambling and Betting Association standards, which are equally stringent, and that certainly helped prepare us for that aspect of the inspection,” said Eberhard Dürrschmid, CEO of Greentube. “We're very pleased that we were successful in achieving the demanding eCOGRA standards, again proving the high quality level established within our product development and operational teams and software.” |
