With the overwhelming popularity of Mac
products such as the iPhone and iTouch, it should come as no surprise that
online gambling companies are quickly jumping on the bandwagon, rushing to
accommodate their players by developing versions of internet casinos more
compatible with Apple computers. Most online gambling sites, whether Flash
– based, or download, are designed with the PC user in mind, and though
accessible through Mac computers, do not always provide the best gaming
experience. To better serve their customers, the internet gambling company GR88 has launched this week a new version of their software, introducing a platform to better accommodate Apple users. Their newest contribution will be advertised though their partner marketing agency, I.A.M Corporation, which confirmed the Beta launch of the new programming for both their internet casino options and online poker rooms. The new software, named version 5.0, comes with a number of additional upgrades besides the Mac OSX. Their user interface has seen a facelift, which now offers late registration for poker tournaments. Multi-play options have been added, as well as a new support system for more international languages. Launched in 2008, GR88 is a member of the Merge Poker Network. They utilize EnterAsia for live dealer games, and carry both Kahnawake and Philippine operating licenses. “With the growing popularity of Apple products, we feel this will be a great opportunity to open new doors and offer our games to an even wider audience,” said executive Peter Karrol of I.A.M, a man formally known for his employment with the Bodog group. |
