Another three years has been added onto a relatively successful sponsorship contract this week, as Casinos Austria confirms that they have allowed their subsidiary company Tipp3 to extend the life of the contract with the Austrian Bundesliga football league just this week. Tipp3 is a company that specializes in the sports betting division of the internet gambling industry, while their parent company Casinos Austria covers a much wider range of platforms.

The match between Tipp3 and the Austrian Bundesliga league couldn’t be better, as both cater to the same demographics, and mutually benefit from the pairing. The league supports ten teams, with the division of the clubs covered and supported by the Tipp sponsorship now being referred to as the Tipp3 Bundesliga. The new contract has been signed between the two through the end of the 2013 – 2014 season, with a bunch of new advertisement opportunities being laid out for the future.

“We are extremely proud that our intensive discussions with the Bundesliga have been successful,” said Philip Newald, Chairman for Tipp3. “Our commitment to Austrian football will continue with renewed commitment and quality as a result of this deal.” Sponsorship contracts between online gambling companies and professional sports leagues have become an especially effective way to market to very specific demographics in the last two years, with more and more internet casinos choosing their teams carefully to maximize their advertising space. Contracts between organizations typically allow for the internet gambling company’s logo to appear on some if not all of the jerseys, as well as stipulate for prime or exclusive advertising space on the team’s home field, whether the sport be football, rugby or even cricket.
