PKR.com, which specializes in online poker, was hosting the Win – A – Porsche contest, a promotional draw designed to bring in new membership to the 3 – dimensional site. It’s a well earned car for Orum, who not only works as a Danish policeman but also moonlights as a car salesman, working hard to make ends meet. His acitivity on the online casino earned him a solid 25 entries to the contest, one of which came through to make his dreams come true. The draw was witnessed and managed by an independent adjudicator from Mishcon de Reya. The drawing was of course poker-style, with Sofia Lovgren of Team PKR Pro drawing a six of spaces from deck of cards, identifying Orum as the associated winner from a pool of 322,887. Orum has decided to keep the car, instead of selling it for the cash, adding a few customized pieces like a license plate. “The car is ballistic! Ive just spent 6 days driving the car around Germany. I sell nice cars as a hobby, but I never imagined Id own one myself,” he said.
