Though largely yet unknown in other regions of the online gambling world, the popular UK site Goal.com has made headlines this week on internet casino news sites by signing an agreement with the sports betting conglomerate Sportingbet.com. Goal.com specifically specializes in the game of soccer, commonly referred to as football in Europe, and to that end, does supply some betting options for the biggest game in some of the larger leagues.

Goal.com’s new agreement with Sportingbet will allow them to do just that more efficiently, adding a new selection of events to their existing platform. The site announced their new partnership contract this week, saying that the purpose of the jointure would be to provide their members with a “…richer, more comprehensive betting experience.”

Though Sportingbet is the first major online gambling company to have signed a deal with Goal.com, they certainly won’t be the last or only, said a representative from the firm. The site has announced their intention to completely redo the entire online betting section of the site, and intend to flush out the selection of bets and events with similar deals with other internet gambling groups. Exclusive betting previews will be hosted, as well as predictive assistance, coaching and best odds links for punters’ use.

"We are delighted to welcome Sportingbet as a new betting partner for Goal.com,” David Mole, Goal.com's Betting & Odds Expert said. “A well-known brand in the UK and across Europe, they represent an important diversification in our betting content offering. Sportingbet will become one of several betting partners on Goal.com as we continue to improve and develop the wealth of betting information for casual punters and expert gamblers alike."
