A Casino Club Story
- 3 Even more accusations have arisen, relating back to what the player could have possibly been doing to render his blackjack play illegal. Casino Club have accused him of being one half of a two-person gambling ring team, and guilty of unspecified fraud. Allegations run the gamut, from running software based robots, to multi-accounting, to collusion and even so far as bonus abuse. Nearly ever possibility has been covered by the accusers, probably with the hope that even partially one might fit the bill that they won’t have to pay up. One brave spokesperson out of Casino Club had the gall to report to online gambling inquiries that the player had been under security surveillance for some time before the win, and that the case’s development was an unfortunate coincidence with the German’s win. The online casino’s official position continues to be that their actions were perfectly in line with policies and their rights as a business, assuring that the LGA was given a full run down of all their findings, and insisting that the LGA decided in favor of the casino. But even more complications have come to light, as observers and members of Casino Club alike want to know why, if all of the Club’s claims are above board, were the jackpot monies not put back in the pot when they were seized from the (fraudulent) player’s accounts? If the win was really illegitimate from scamming, the money should have never been touched and should go back to whence it came – the jackpot prize pot. But the €167K is not there, and has instead been melded back into company funds, rather than giving another player a fair chance at making a fortune, and casting a suspicious light back on the company. Most recent attempts at communication with Casino Club in regards to the matter have been declined, with no official commentary coming from the internet casino, save for the occasional unauthorized comment by employees. The LGA, similarly, has remained silent – though why is not known. Players continue to rant on message boards, insisting that the money be put back in the pot, and receiving continuous empty promises that it will be once the case is resolved. The German, it seems, has yet to decide his next move, and so for now, the fate of the regulatory boards in Malta and their subsequent online casinos hang in the balance, waiting. |
