As November marks the conclusion for this year’s World Series of Slots, hosted by the Jackpot Factory, the final results are in for the semi-finals of the monumental tournament. A Finnish player by the screen name of Petteri V won first place, and with it, cashed in on the $50,000 first prize. After the win, he granted an interview to Jackpot Factory, stating that he did intend to use his jackpot to continue playing poker and enter into more slots events, after significantly padding his savings account, of course. “It felt unreal. I couldn’t believe it. Almost still can’t,” said Petteri of the moment of realization. Second place was won by Paula J, off of one of the contributing websites to the Jackpot Factory family, All Slots Casino. The runner-up finish was almost equally as thrilling for her as it was for Petteri: “With only two pushes left on our last 'continue (play),' we were in 126th place when we hit free spins and got a 404,100 point push to put us in to second place.” She will also continue on in the finals. The World Series of Slots is now on its final leg of competition, and those games November 7th through 10th will conclude this year’s events. The WSOS advertised the largest prize pool yet this year, $500,000. The semi-finals gave away an impressive $100,000 while the final will double the amount. Host Jackpot Factory has also facilitated satellite tournaments that will allow new players to also take part in the largest slots tournament available. |
