Governor Steve Beshear’s actions in Kentucky have resulted in a boycott against anything related to the state. Sherman Bradley of the Online Casino Advisory has called supporters of internet gambling to act against the domain seizure by shunning products and services that are correlated to the State of Kentucky, especially anything that could be related to gambling.

His request was phrased to appeal to anyone, worldwide, but especially American citizens, and not just gaming enthusiasts. He made mention of those peoples who concerned themselves with Internet censorship, and freedoms online. Whereas originally Beshear said the measures were designed to protect horse gambling, by seizing the domain names for 141 internet websites he has brought himself under attack for endangering all types of gambling online. The issue boils down to the fact that the state cannot tax online gambling, and according to Bradley, this very element is what ensures they’ll be heard. By boycotting anything that would support the revenue department in question, thousands of voices are ensured to be heard.

Specifically, Bradley encouraged the boycotting of Churchill Downs, one of if not the most well-known horse racing tracks in the continental US. October 26th to November 29th of this year marks the time frame in which the track will host live streaming horse races, and through their partnership with TwinSpires.com, the races are to be available online. This event is the only to be left out of Beshear’s vendetta, making it the perfect subject for Bradley’s boycott.

Other subjects for the fight include Arlington Park, Clader Race Track, and the Louisiana Fair Grounds. Governor Beshear has also received thousands of protest letters from the state’s 16,000 Poker Players Alliance members. Some sites, such as GoldenCasino, have changed their domain names in preparation for the judge’s decision November 17th.
