Home History Games News Dictionary		The third annual BetMarkets convention dates have been announced as the 4th and 5th of March, 2009. The conference is held with the sole goal of providing a means by which bookmaking and sportsbetting representatives can meet, network and learn in a dynamic environment. Last year’s event was deemed a tremendous success, held in Vienna and hosting more than 200 attendees from 32 countries to enjoy both a social atmosphere, and then a conference the following day. 2009’s schedule has been arranged similarly according the last year’s accomplishment, though will be held in the larger space of the Vienna Messe in Vienna, Austria. BetMarkets stands alone as the only conference of its kind for senior level sportsbettors and bookmakers. It is designed to be not a celebration of the industry, but rather a platform for frank discussion, allowing such issues as customer technology, the challenge of legislation, and leveraging mobile and web 2.0 progress to be addressed in a worldwide scope. There are innumerable opportunities for networking as well, providing industry names to finally meet one another in person, and develop ideas that can be used for the diversification of solutions in all manners. The last two years saw 80% of attendees at the reception the first evening, and so the tradition stands, with BetMarkets hosting a dinner with complimentary drinks on the 4th. The 3rd is said to be an informal day prior to the event proper for informal meetings in a casual atmosphere, as the week will gear up for the debate and learning that occupy the official conference. Clarion Gaming is producing next year’s BetMarkets, as they have since its establishment.
