The company, already celebrating a strong presence in Southern Europe, has announced the decision justifying it with an need for a new office to support their growing customer base, choosing Madrid this time to expand in. Entraction, a popular European online poker company, will be opening their newest branch in Madrid to support the Spanish market in addition to the nearby French and Italians. The corporation, based out of Malta and Sweden hopes that the new location will also result in increases in growth for neighboring France and Italy, as well as Spain; predicatively 17%, 21% and 17% respectively for the three nations over the next 3 years. Considering the very strong partner base as well as growing membership in Spain, the choice of Madrid for the new base was almost too easy. Opening the new office requires new staff and Entraction has enlisted the employment of Missael Lundquist to head up the team as Sales Executive for Southern Europe. Lundquist most recently managed the Swedish Trade Council in Madrid and therefore is both familiar and proficient in the market and region. His primary job duties relate to building and expanding partnerships for the online poker company within Spain, and connecting in a similar fashion in neighboring states Italy and france. He speak native Spanish and is educated; holding two Masters degrees in Commercial Law and Economics. The CEO of Entraction, Peter Astrom seemed confident in both the move, and the expansion: “The establishment [of an office] in Spain is a cost efficient way to reach new customers and tie existing customers closer to Entraction as well as a step in our strategy to grow in new markets. We have a fantastic development in Southern Europe, but we see potential for increased growth by local presence. The proximity to Gibraltar, which is a hub in the gaming world, is also a clear advantage".
