Though the modern and well-liked online gambling software development company Zynga has had a few disagreements disrupt their primary resource for both exposure and growth, Facebook, the encouragement that they have received from players who love Zynga’s apps has brought the company to the brink of decision. They announced this week that they will now jump full force into the rest of the online gambling world, with the launch of a new internet casino that will specialize in Zynga developed skill games.

Zynga blasted onto the scene, riding on the success of social networking websites such as Facebook and MySpace. They hold a strong position among players who regularly frequent the games and skill applications that now are huge part of the social networking community, a good start to the burgeoning new site, ensuring that from they get-go, Zynga will have a high likelihood of bringing with them a bunch of start-up players.

According to a report by Tech-Crunch, many of their games and applications will likely be highlighted on the new online casino, to be branded with the name of Zynga Live. Their popularity on Facebook, at the very least, is undeniable, as four of the top ten apps in the whole of the platform are Zynga contributions. Its not only Facebook that has benefited from Zynga’s innovation; they also have selections on MySpace, MSN, My Yahoo and the iPhone.

Though the chief executive officer Mark Pincus did confirm that Zynga has had some recent difficulties with Facebook, it is still unclear whether their request to abandon the social networking website has had any effect on the development of Zynga Live, or whether or not they will even comply. Facebook continues to insist that the use of all Zynga applications be purchased through the Facebook Credits platform, giving them access to 30 percent of the revenue generated. Zynga has yet to comply.
