In fact, Leggett has since issued an official Thank You to Poker Table Ratings on behalf of the apparently still improving online gambling company. While a significant amount of their money has been spent in the last year on all types of security since the cheating debacles with Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker, Leggett assured his consumers that that dedication will be doubled, with a special focus paid on new and innovative security resources, as well as third party test to try to get into the systems.

Tokwiro, under Leggett’s push, made good on their promise, releasing a series of security updates for all of the internet casinos on the Cereus poker network a few hours later. It was accompanied by a promise to issue yet another, more comprehensive solution utilizing the Open SSL system; they estimated it to be complete and ready for installation within one week. In spite of Leggett’s prompt and apparently comprehensive reaction to the discovery, not all players, or industry bloggers were satisfied.

One poster seems furious, demanding that Tokwiro and Cereus close down access to all of the online gambling sites, and claimed that by not doing so, they were putting their members at risk. As the announcement, at this point, had already hit the mainstream, the poster had a point, as there were at least three hours from the revelation, notifying the whole of the online gambling community of the flaw, before the issue was blocked. As far as anyone has been able to confirm, however, there were no major cases.
