With the World Cup only weeks away from its beginning in South Africa this coming summer, online gambling fanatics are already getting excited for the event! Football fans look forward to the World Cup the way Americans drool over the Superbowl, a frenzy that translates to millions of dollars bet in internet gambling sports betting sites. But the fun and games have already begun at Bwin, as the online casino launched a new game inspired by this year’s World Cup, a skill game already available for players at the site. The new game is a skill game, and is a twist on the classic favorite of Solitaire. Called World Cup Solitaire, the single player diversion asks players to pair cards to reach a sum value of thirteen points. Color and suit moves can boost the score as well. Pairs are chosen that sum to 13 until all the cards are gone, or until there are not any legal moves left on the table. The prototype of the game has a timer that caps out at five minutes play time, but there are no pick bonus or even overall timing bonuses; some hope that they will be added if the game proved popular with Bwin gamers. The company, based out of Vienna, said the following in relation to the release of their game: “World Cup Solitaire is a new variant of the classic Solitaire, which should not only appeal to football fans, but other players too," said Tomer Katz, Bwin product manager. |
