As the American outlook on online gambling shifts very slowly towards legalization, more internet casino groups are trying to position themselves for the imminent legalization of the market. The largest expected obstacle will be the probable stipulation that online gambling companies which violated the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) will not be eligible for licenses to operate in the US. To bypass such a punishment, Microgaming is shifting their structure, rerouting American players now, long before the law catches on.

Two more online casinos licensed to use Microgaming software have notified the rest of the internet casino community that they will be moving to an independent (read: not Microgaming) software platform. The look and feel of the programming is supposed to be remarkably similar to that which the players frequenting the sites already enjoy, but not exactly.

Beginning the 20th of May, Star Partners confirmed that they will be moving platforms for the Vegas Partner Lounge Casinos to the new US facing software. Red Flush Casino will already have made the move, scheduled to take place on the 18th of May. Affiliates will also follow suit, moving to a new program, called Affiliates.TheCasinoUS.com.

The new brand has been called RedFlush, and is the same new home for a myriad of other internet casinos sites that continue to offer their products to Americans, a dangerous choice with the pending legislation. To protect their eligibility, Microgaming has withdrawn their official licenses, rerouting sites such as 7Sultans, Royal Vegas, Fortune Room, Vegas Palms, Vegas Villa and Platinum Play Casinos to the new platform.
