For those poker fanatics who prefer the live tournament circuit to the host of online casino Series offered by the Internet gambling community, the addition of London to the World Poker Tour schedule for the 2010 season. The World Poker Tour, hosted by the Internet gambling group Party Gaming, has tagged the city on to the existing program in the hopes that the stop will entice even the most reluctant of big money players, as London is home to many poker professional players. The game will be hosted in the fine weather of Mayfair, with the excitement planned to unfold in the Palm Beach Casino at the Mayfair Hotel. The scheduled dates have been released to the online gambling community as running from the 29th of August to the 5th of September, occupying a week of the subdivision's time. So as not to overwhelm the area, reports say that there will be a maximum of 400 players on the London events, and cost those interested in participating £5,000 + £300 to enter. If the price is too steep, interested players might also try their hands at one of the online qualifiers to be hosted at Party Gaming's internet casino.
