The inspiration has been the mighty heads up between fierce opponents Manchester United and Manchester City soccer leagues in the United Kingdom, as the football world gears up in preparation for this summer’s World Cup. The game between the two challengers will be plenty big enough to drive the bets on the online gambling sports betting site, but the excitement generated by the fans’ challenge to come up with the best supporters’ chant certainly won’t hurt business either. The betting firm is partnering with specialist events’ company Synergy to master the campaign, which will be specifically driven for the Manchester Derby. The promotion has since been closed, with the winners being named as Rohan David, who submitted on behalf of Manchester United “MUFC – Making History, Not Buying It” and on the flip side for the City, Sam Steel’s “The Past was Yours, but the Future’s Ours.” The chants were blasted on the giant billboard of the city’s center. With Manchester United’s win, the same billboard was overhauled once again, proudly displaying the winning team’s colors and chants. |
