Though it’s well known that online slot games hold the greatest share of popularity in the internet gambling community, scratch cards certainly have their own following, with the frequency of use and interest in new games booming over the last year. The online gambling software development company Neogames, as a specialist in the field, is getting a big chunk of the action, profiting from the newfound interest by players. That’s not to say that the game of poker or slots have anything to worry about it. By far, the popularity of the other two diversions far outweighs any interest in internet scratch cards for now. But the increase in popularity is something that is being noticed by the large and small internet casino groups, with many turning to Neogames’ expertise for the addition of the cards to their lobby menus. That doesn’t, however, mean that Neogames is the only developer vying for business, as Prime Gaming announced this week the release of new games, trying to get into the market in a strong way as it grows. Prime Gaming is the parent company for Prime Scratch Cards, group that despite their low profile, offers to the online gambling industry more than 40 instant win games and scratch card selections. All of the offerings utilize Flash gaming technology, ensuring that players can log on and play immediately, with no downloads required. Their management team released a statement this week, dedicating themselves to the goal of releasing at least one new game a month to maintain interest on the burgeoning site. The promises seem to be working as Prime Scratchcards saw one of the highest conversion ratings in their division, gathering a growing fan base in Europe. The firm claims to have players in nearly every online gambling-friendly nation on the planet, and regular players in at least 115 countries. As last year closed, Prime was selling more than 10 million scratch cards a month, and paid out more than €8 million in player bonuses. They are licensed through the Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta. The Prime online casino carries the eCOGRA Seal of Approval. |
