One backoffice firm that caters to the basic infrastructure of the internet gambling world is taking their expansion to a whole new level as it opens a point of presence location in Paris, France. The news hit the internet casino news posts this week that Continent 8 Technologies, best known for their support services for the online gambling industry, will be launching the next phase of their international expansion with their POP location, another tool to manage existing hosting services for the e-commerce world. According to the press release submitted by the company, the opening of the Paris location will be shortly followed with co-location facilities in the surrounding area, each of which will be designed to manage the services for Continent 8, and exceed the needs of the newly liberalized French online gambling market. A number of additional changes should be expected by clientele and their subsequent customers, such as enhancements made to their private network capabilities. Connections will be key to keeping the whole of the Continent 8 network infrastructure running smoothly, linking up client’s services from all over the world, effectively linking players from North America, Asia and Europe for a seamless gaming experience. Locations on the list to be connected includes Continent 8 hubs in London, the Isle of Man, Malta, Gibraltar, Singapore, and Kahnawake, near Montreal, all set to link up with the new one in Paris. Additionally, a presence in Paris will allow Continent 8 to further increase their peering agreements, adding on to the success demonstrated by Montreal and London’s work. “Our investment in network and facilities is to provide our customers with the best online experience available,” said Michael Tobin, the chief executive officer for the firm. “As traffic and requirements of our clients increase, Continent 8 is committed to providing leading edge services to meet growing sophisticated demands.” |
