An agreement has been reached between partners Net Entertainment and the Bonnier Gaming bingo subsidiary Bertil Internet Limited. The partnership has been extended to include the additional of the Casino Module online casino platform to the existing bingo coverage. Net Entertainment is one of the most well-known internet gambling providers in its home nation of Sweden and has made its way to the top of the charts in recent years for the worldwide industry. It is Bonnier Gaming’s hope that the strong linkage between themselves and Net Ent, as they often referred to, will result in some of that success rubbing off. The deal is being viewed as an essential piece of the expansion puzzle for Bonnier by many in the online gambling industry, as the smaller firm struggles to be a competitor in the growing market, as bingo becomes an ever more popular element of the online casino scene. Bonnier Gaming owns part of their subsidiary, Bertil. Bertil, in turn, is an existing licensee of Net Entertainment, a relationship that this latest agreement hopes to secure more tightly. Bertil is registered for online gambling through Malta. The latest development will mean Bertil’s ability to offer a large selection of internet casino games on their latest site, Vinnarum.com as well as Bonnier.com. “Since we are relatively late in establishing ourselves on this market it is of key importance that we offer the best products,” said Marcus Forsell, the chief executive officer for Bonnier. “Bertil evaluated several alternatives and selected Net Entertainments platform, as it combines high operational security with innovative solutions.” |
