Though as of yet, unconfirmed by any official notice from Apple, one online gambling company has issued a claim to the rest of the internet casino community that their applications for iPad have hit the number one spot for most downloaded games. Viaden Media has made such a claim this week, branding out from their established market, based out of Minsk, Belarus. To be specific, Viaden informed their competitors that their card games had become the most frequently downloaded games in the Apple’s iStore under the Casino and Card Games Category, for iPad. Nonetheless, for a company hardly recognized by the rest of the online gambling community, it comes as somewhat a surprise. A quick look at the stats did confirm that four of the internet casino game apps made at the time of the rankings, as the group hopes to continue riding on this measure of success and expand it to bigger categories. According to one spokesperson for Viaden Media, the introduction of the iPad has created yet another medium for gaming applications, this time with more power behind them compared to iPhones and iTouches. Deep function games can be developed, as well as other applications, a open world of opportunity that Viaden apparently recognized straightaway, creating a specialty for themselves. “Commitment to high quality standards and constant product evolution is rooted in our corporate policy,” said Viaden’s head of mobile developments, Yuri Gursky. “We keep seeking for new opportunities for development. Achieving the top of the popularity chart for iPad card and casino games is a great motivation for us, though we consider it to be only the start. Our aim is to create the most popular gambling applications for iPhone and iPad not only in separate AppStore sectors, but the whole gaming niche of the AppStore.” |
