A meaningful deal has been struck this week for the online gambling software provider Microgaming, who signed an agreement with the internet casino operator Virgin Games. The deal marks a surge of growth for Microgaming, who has gone without a significant deal in recent months for no apparent reason. As Virgin Games grows in popularity, their position will be strengthened with the addition of Microgaming to their partner list, and please their member base as well, with the addition of Flash-based online casino games to their repertoire.

The new games will offer up the world renowned graphics and sound quality, all through the newly pioneered software toting the Quickfire branding. The benefit to online casino gamblers is quick and obvious, by choosing to sign on to Flash-based gaming, no download is necessary. A spokesperson for Virgin Games said that the agreement outlines a direct integration program with Microgaming, with a slew of games from the latter’s menus to be intro’d to Virgin Casino in the coming months.

The first game in the line-up has been scheduled as Thunderstruck, one of the best known titles from Microgaming’s vast selection. The online slot game offers five reels, and nine paylines, mixing up chances of winning with a Wild and a Scatter symbol. A Free Bonus as well as a Gamble feature have also been included, bringing all that players love about Thunderstruck to Virgin Casino.

Virgin is just the latest internet casino to sign on to Microgaming’s rosters, which hosts more than 120 internet gambling sites and more than 40 poker rooms. It was a deal struck primarily to meet Virgin’s goal of expanding their platforms to offer the best and widest variety to their players. Other integrations on the Virgin side include partnerships with Ash Gaming, Freemantle, CryptoLogic and WagerWorks.

"Our customers have told us that they want a wider range of games and specifically they would love to play Microgaming games as a part of the Virgin Games offering,” said Simon Burridge, CEO of Virgin Games. “Since the launch of our custom built platform back in 2008, we have been introducing a range of new gaming content to our sites and Virgin Games now has one of the widest ranges of casino and slot games available in the UK. The addition of Microgaming, the world leader in its field, is a big step forward for Virgin Games customers and we look forward to launching its games with a range of promotions over the coming months."
