With as many changes that are hitting the worldwide online gambling industry this year, it should come as no surprise that individual executives are likewise positioning themselves for success in this season of change. One of those making a move this summer is Gabi Campos, who has become better known to the internet gambling community for himself by heading up Dragonfish, will be leaving the role in favor of pursuing new challenges. Dragonfish was all but unheard of two years ago, and since has made huge strides in its acquisition of contracts, acting as the business-to-business subsidiary for major online gambling company 888 Holdings, Plc. Much of their success has been credited to the dynamic efforts of their head, Campos, who announced this week that he would be moving on to other ventures, having established a strong base for growth at Dragonfish. Campos came to Dragonfish with a resume already filled with several senior vice president credits at parent firm 888.com. He was with Dragonfish since 2007, further earning a sheer to his already good reputation within the online gambling industry, all but guaranteeing himself a future wherever he’d like. Dragonfish enjoyed revenues of more than $51 million last year. Until a suitable replacement can be found for Campos’ role, the chief executive officer for 888.com said that he would be taking over Campos’ responsibilities. "We would like to thank Gabi for his contributions. A replacement will be announced in due course, and 888 looks forward to further growth from Dragonfish in the future,” said Gigi Levy. |
