It seems that however remotely, the online gambling software provider Microgaming is not yet finished with their influences on the newly liberalized French market, as yet another stream of developments has been confirmed by the company. They announced only recently that they would be teaming up with 888.com, another powerful brand in the online casino world, to launch a France-facing poker network.

The new poker network will apparently be a resurrection of one of the older Microgaming brands, known as Prima Networks Limited. This will be the vehicle to bring the Microgaming products to France’s new online gambling market, through a business-to-business partnership that has granted the subsidiary full licensing jurisdiction. It stands alone, separate from the Poker Network, which continues to service the remainder of the European internet casino community.

Because French law requires a domestic company to sign on as partner before they can be regulated for operation, it was confirmed that such a partner had been found in a French land-based casino, though the name of which has not yet been revealed. Though confidential now, it is widely accepted that the secret won’t be held for long. The land partner will be the first to have dibs at the new poker solutions to be developed by Spiral Solutions France, with software coming in from Microgaming via the original Spiral.

In addition to poker solutions in software, the new Spiral Solutions is also prepared to offer a myriad of advertising and marketing solutions to the infantile French gambling industry. “We have experienced great success with Spiral Solutions in markets all over the world and we are delighted to team up again to bring a leading eGaming solution to the French market,” said Roger Raatgever, CEO of Microgaming. “We are in a fantastic position to support any company looking to launch and operate a successful online poker room in France, with our poker platform and the value-added services provided by Spiral Solutions France.”
