According to a report by the Montreal Gazette, Openbet has already made strides in preparing to open a representative office in the Canadian city, creating 15 new jobs in the region just to start. Still under consideration are the protective and prevention measures promised to the government, measures that Loto-Quebec’s CEO Alain Cousineau has promised will be among the most innovative as well as comprehensive in all the industry. "Loto-Québec intends to bring its online games of chance project to fruition with all of its well-known rigour and integrity," said Cousineau. “We will be offering Québecers a choice of entertaining games like poker, various table games and sports betting within a controlled circuit and in a secure environment whose integrity will be beyond question.”
