Their target of Massachusetts was selected for a number of reasons, said the press release, primarily naming the state’s Lottery’s technical advancement as well as their innovative thinking. Stefan Hrafnkelsson, the chief executive officer for Betware said that they have already enjoyed a number of successful meetings with lottery management as well as state lawmakers to make sure that any contract under development wouldn’t meet legal trouble in the future. The plans will be slow going for that very reason, as a representative for the Massachusetts Lottery said that at this point, its only talk. They expect some sort of permission to need to be granted by the State Legislature as well.
