The new brand name was acquired in a deal less than a year ago and will now be used to identify the company as a whole, while they continue to cater to major internet casino companies like Betfair. The firm’s facelift will also include a number of new services, such as database management and customer service support as well as the existing transactional data services offered by Transactis. The merger brings the advantages of both sides together, blending secure marketing capabilities with backoffice power, and bringing together two growing markets into one powerful client base. CDMS handles around 1.5 percent of all UK mail in their marketing products, and 7 percent of all B2C mail, while Transactis has penetrated the home-shopping and online brand world with 160 in their membership. The well-known online gambling company Betfair is already a client of the new Transactis services, and joins powerhouses from plenty of other industries in their choice, such as Nationwide, HM Revenue and Customs, Damart and Shop Direct Group. The change in branding also includes a change in leadership, as David Steel will take the lead for the new merged partnership. He joined the firm in June 2009, with a resume touting more than 15 years experience in customer service and loyalty, consumer insight, marketing and retail data. “Our services are geared towards turning clients’ transactional data into actionable insight, and then using that understanding to enable clients to set customer strategies, deliver engaging communication and drive business profitability,” Steel said. “In an age of greater personalisation, one-to-one communication and multiple contact touch-points, we are aligning our staff and resources to meet these changes and provide dynamic marketing solutions."
