Some significant changes to the Multi-Table Tournament Schedule hosted by the Microgaming Poker Network are being noted by the internet gambling community. The changes are being toted by the online casino group as designed in order to offer players more opportunities within their game play, and should be nothing but positive in improving their online gambling experience at the Poker Network. The group took their inspiration from player feedback, integrating the desired alterations to the current gaming schedule. Now the Poker Network schedule will include bigger guarantees for several concurrent tournaments, creating a greater liquidity through the whole network. One of the new tournaments, introduced just last year, is called Survivor, and requires all the poker players at the table to play not only against each other, but also against the clock in time-restricted elimination levels. It’s the only game of its kind, available only on the Microgaming network. The online gambling community seems to be digging it, as it is already proving to be one of the more popular tournament structures since its launch. The new schedule also will see less field tournaments, offering both Guaranteed and Double Up first prize events, in addition to the ever popular ‘Carnage’ all-in versions. Double Ups are only slightly different from their Sit ‘n’ Go cousin events, still requiring half of the players to double up their initial buy-in, but 100 players can sign in and compete at the same time. “We believe that the Microgaming Poker Network’s Multi-Table Tournament Schedule is now better than ever," says the network's head of poker, Andrew Clucas. "We have listened to player feedback and acted on it, delivering a number of smart, player-focused initiatives and we are confident they will meet the expectations of even the most discerning poker player." |
