They will first focus their attentions on the Irish market, catering to the sports betting sector, with poker and traditional internet casino games available as well. Chili Gaming will be playing a more supportive role as the new brand rolls out, as they already host their own white-label sportsbook called Chili Bet.com. Their system is powered by the Odds Matrix and has managed to hold up rather well considering worldwide economic conditions. Their revenues in 2009 increased by almost $12 million, a jump of around 40 percent. “This partnership showcases the potential for a media organization to target its own audience with its own gaming product," said Setanta Sports co-founder Michael O’Rourke. “We believe that we can enhance the entertainment experience of our customers with premium sports and gaming products, and we are confident that this will allow us to become a key player in the Irish gaming industry.
