While Wagerworks is saving their surprises to be unveiled at the IGE-ICEi expo in London, Microgaming isn’t holding back, having launched this very week their latest blackjack game to online casino clients. The newest product has been designed with not only their internet casino patrons in mind, but the players who will enjoy the game in the end, incorporating a number of improvements according to suggestions made by gamblers.

The difference will be immediately apparent, as the realism leaks through the screen to simulate as close to a live casino experience as possible at an online gambling website. The new blackjack game hosts vibrant colors and graphics, players are able to interact with their dealers and hosts in real time, and all of the game play is streamed over the internet through live feed video, finally adding live dealer blackjack to the Microgaming menus.

Two new features have been added to mix it up, as well, Bet Behind and Waiting List. Though tables may fill up, Bet Behind allows non-seated players to make some money off active games by betting on seated players’ chances, just like in live casinos. No limits are placed on the number of players that can wager on a single game, and gamblers can even bet on different games simultaneously. Waiting List is an extra function that serves to alert players as to when seats open up at their favorite tables and with their preferred dealers. It’s a tool that allows bettors to enjoy themselves with side games, while they wait for their preferred seat, not worrying about having to watch and jump on with skilled timing.

“Microgaming has always been at the forefront of gaming innovation,” said the head of live gaming for Microgaming, Tobias Adamson. “Microgaming Live Blackjack offers a real casino experience to online players in a safe, secure and fair environment.”
