Some accusations are flying in regards to the recent promotion by one of the most popular online gambling networks in the business, iPoker and their celebration of the two billionth player milestone. One player in particular has made an informal claim against the network and the promotion, saying that despite having won a chunky prize, he remains unpaid months later. The arguments have primarily developed on the online gambling information and bulletin portal, twoplustwo.com.

According to his claim, the player, who goes by the screen name of ‘Derrickki,’ won $60,000 in both cash and online poker tournament prizes during the iPoker promotion to celebrate their two billionth player. He says that he signed into the Betfold website, which is a member of Playtech’s iPoker network, specifically to take advantage of the generous prizes being offered. When he struck the two billionth hand, and his prizes (summing to $60,000)were awarded, he was ten-tabling some heads up No Limit Hold’Em poker on the site.

But Derrickki still hasn’t been paid. Other members of the twoplustwo online gambling forum argued that Betfold has been known to be very slow-paying and not to give up hope, while still other opinions seem to indicate that Betfold might not have been an official participant in the two-billionth celebration. In any case, the customer support system has plenty to be desired, with no assistance coming from either iPoker or Playtech. Derrickki seems to have no intention of giving up his claim to the prizes - $40,000 in cash and $20k in Irish Open / WSOP tournament packages- without a fight.
