Some big news is being quickly spread throughout the online gambling community in regards to the Casino Affiliate questions, with some answers finally being given – at least temporarily. An affiliate forum hosted a thorough response, before administrators took it down. The content, however, has been documented, and its provided confirmation that the resurgent Casino affiliate Program does in fact profit financially from the iGaming Business.

Though the numbers have no been released as to how much CAP received from its correlation to the iGaming Business online gambling affiliate conferences. The news has had quite a reaction, partially because answers have been so slow in coming since the financial meltdown of the CAP in the early part of 2009. The entirety of the circumstances has been controversial.

The Casino Affiliates Program, developed by Warren Jolly, have been less than straightforward about their finances since suspicion arose at the beginning of 2009. They have only now admitted their continued connection to the iGB, having spent a serious amount of effort in portraying the two as separate entities. In an interesting twist of fate, while the Gambling Portal Webmaster’s Association was one of the loudest detractors last year; they are now a key player in the recent developments.

The information that was disclosed has since been deleted off the Gambling Portal Webmaster’s Association message board, but hosted an unlikely candid response by a iGB representative to a question about the relationship between CAP and their online gambling firm. Apparently, the answer was too much information, and was quickly removed from the site.

"Back in late 2006, around the time UIGEA was passed, Alex Pratt (Publisher of iGaming Business) and I conceptualized a series of iGaming affiliate conferences which would be completely free for affiliates who were members of both CAP and the GPWA - these conferences would become the "official" CAP conference,” wrote Jolly in a response statement to the message board, no longer able to deny the connection. "In early 2009, due to our own internal challenges & restructuring, a decision was made to distance the events and magazines from CAP. We gave up this control and provided 100 percent latitude to iGB in an effort to focus our time, energy, and resources on resolving the internal disputes at the time.
