We think the mobile channel for ourselves and the industry will become a channel with some prominence for the future.” The leader of the firm said that much of the success had been attributed to the growth and success of smart phones, correlating the popularity of convenience with the success of their mobile gambling division. The mobile services for Unibet are provided in part by their technological partner, Mobenga. Other significant statistics included in the report included their Gross Winnings Revenue, which was up to £42.1 million from £34.9 million in 2009’s last quarter. Their full year totals were not as impressive as Uniben managed to bank £32.8 million in profits from operations for 2009, just down from 2008’s £36.5 million. The firm is still managing to increase their customer list, however, as the number of active users at the end of the year was marked at 365,865, compared to last year’s closing data at 292,168.
