The B2B market (business to business) is on the rise this week with yet another internet gambling company announcing a move in the sector. Unibet is the latest online casino group to join the movement, as they kick off their new service with an agreement signed with Ålands Penningautomatförening (Paf), to provide a full sports betting option added to their existing menu of online gambling options.

Unibet is a little late on the scene with a number of major internet gambling firms already setting a standard in the B2B market. Bwin has been utilizing their relationship with the Ongame Network to the best of their ability, and a similar arrangement has been confirmed between partners Dragonfish and its parent company 888.com. Paddy Power’s affiliation with Airton Risk has put them in an excellent position to deal with the French monopoly PMU just as Betsson has recognized the potential of the market with their development of Betsson Business Solutions. Even Party Gaming has joined on to the trend, linking with the Danish state monopoly Danske Spil in order to offer up online casino and poker games.

Because Unibet specializes in sports betting, PAF signed up for just those, agreeing to a three-year contract that can extend the services to external clientele. Risk management, odds consolidation and in-house operations are all provided for in the contract. They will also have access to the increasingly popular betting pools Super Toto and Super Score through Unibet’s menu.

“Paf will continue to grow internationally and this investment strengthens our offering long term,” said the chief executive officer for PAF, Anders Ingves. “This Agreement will be important for Paf and our customers. Through our partnership with Unibet, we gain access to the best betting platform in the business”.
