The latest in playing platforms has been introduced by the online gambling software development company Playtech this week, setting the standard even higher for the mobile gaming industry. One of the primary highlights to the new programming is the addition of their Mobile Web Applications, the newest cross-platform solution that allows players to play their favorite online casino games immediately and on-the-go, with no need to wait for downloads to occupy memory space on their devices.

The new mobile gaming offering is sure to be hit with the players, as Playtech Mobile allows their internet casino operators to expand their existing customer base by appealing to the mobile market. The same log-on ID’s are used for both the computer and the mobile devices, allowing a user-friendly simplicity in switching back and forth between different casinos. The instant-play experience can be compared to few others, supported by Apple products such as iPhones and iTouches, as well as Android phones and PDA devices.

More than a dozen online casino games are already available on the new platform, including three new games especially designed for Mobile Web Apps. BlackJack, Jacks or Better video poker and the Gold Rally progressive slot games are expected to be the top three apps in the new line. Playtech has also said that three other titles will be included as Java apps, setting Pop Bingo, Keno, and fixed odds Rock/Paper/Scissors set apart from the traditional standards.

Operators are already excited about the potential, as Playtech’s new Casino Packs will allow operators to create their own customizable download packages. Once a Pack has been created and introduced, players can log-on simply and play instantly. The Mobile Gaming platform is fully supported by Information Management Systems.
