Though the internet gambling world is still unavailable in the US for many of the same access that European countries enjoy, one has to give creativity points to online gambling firms for taking advantage of the littlest loopholes possible to stay afloat until legalization can be achieved. For example, Cantor Gaming is taking over Las Vegas, signing what are being called eDeck deals, allowing the functions of mobile gambling be brought to land-based casinos and resorts by allowing their guests to continue playing games while in other areas on the property. Their latest contract was signed this week with the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

Now Hard Rock patrons can continue their quests for jackpots while in other locations on the resort, such as the pool, bars, restaurants and lounges. Table games, slots, and poker are all available in an internet casino format, linked to the same progressive jackpots found inside and creating an intra-property internet gambling network. Cantor does have the one up on the sector by developing the eDeck platform; it’s designed with proprietary default games such as Xtra Odds BlackJack and Xtra Odds Baccarat, allowing additional betting functions based on calculated odds from the cards dealt, something not available in the live casino versions inside.

“We're pleased to bring mobile gaming to the Hard Rock,” said the President and CEO for Cantor, Lee Amaitis. “The ability to play casino games away from the casino floor adds a whole new dimension to the Vegas experience, and the flexibility of mobile gaming appeals to customers who are already used to the freedom of using mobile devices in many other aspects of their lives." The first casino to sign up for the service was that of the M Resort in March of last year.
