In the race to the top of the online gambling industry among internet casino software companies, both CryptoLogic and Microgaming seems to want to make sure each outdoes the other in terms of not only games, but sheer number of contracts, partners and licensees. This week, the battle rages on as online casino software group CryptoLogic signs a new agreement that will link them to the Scandinavian internet gambling website Bet24, initially providing the site with at least 10 new games for their lobby. Bet24, though not nearly as well known as their game provider, is owned by the Modern Time Group AB, a major international entertainment broadcasting group in Europe. In fact, they are the second biggest group on the continent in terms of geological dominance. Though the future will see the addition of many more, the agreement initially covers the launch of some of CryptoLogic’s most popular titles for the online gambling site. The software firm will receive a portion of the profits generated by the branded and non-branded online slot games, with two of the games already having gone live on Bet24.com. The full menu is expected to be uploaded to the site in the months to come. All games will be provided by the existing gaming platform set up by Gaming Technology Solutions plc, the same platform from which many of the world’s most popular internet casinos operate. "The agreement with Cryptologic is in line with our strategy of providing our customers with the best gaming entertainment products available in the market,” said the manager of casino and games for Bet24, Kim Larsen in relation to the new agreement’s signing. “We are delighted to offer their games to our customers and look forward to working with Cryptologic to expand our business and enhance user experience." |
