The arrival of a new online casino on the internet gambling scene is causing murmurs about their choice of name. As 32Red proved last year with their legal attacks on an internet casino that they said was too close to comfort in terms of copyright infringement, the distance a new firm puts between themselves and established brands can mean a world of difference. 32Red won their case against William Hill for building a site by the name of 32Vegas, and some are wondering if 7Red.com might end up with a similar fate.

In the meantime, the online casino itself looks to be rather promising. There’s an impressive selection of games, the software is user-friendly, and colors and sounds are both inviting and appropriate to the over all lobby’s feel. With potential branding issues waiting quietly in the backdrop, 7Red.com has already caught fire from the internet gambling site’s claim to be licensed for operation by jurisdictions in Costa Rica and Belize, two locations that are not accepted by the player community as ‘safe.’ Online gambling sites registered in these regions have a tendency to be, well, less than scrupulous on a regular basis, casting a shadow of doubt on the casino’s worthiness of trust.

On the plus side, the management team for the new site is all industry experienced, and the new site already has secured for themselves membership in the IGC. The site hosts a menu of 75 games, including an enticing selection of 3-dimensional slots. They intend to launch 3D poker in the near future. Bonuses at the site are generous for now, with this week’s special being listed as a 50 percent sign-up bonus, with a maximum of €250.
