Winning seems to be the name of the game for gamblers frequenting online poker websites Full Tilt Poker.com and Poker Stars.com. The two sites, sister sites in the online gambling's poker sector, have been paying out larger amounts as part of their increasingly popular tournament series. The tournaments are most frequented as part of the Synday events, bringing new membership into the sites and exciting their current customer base. The more gamblers signing up for the poker tournaments, the bigger the jackpots are growing- and quickly.

This week made 'twirlpro' rich at Poker Stars, when he won out over 'fratzl' to take the $200,000 prize. 'Fratzl' was consoled with his runners-up $132,176 from the Sunday Millions tournament. The competition started off with an impressive 8,001 players buying-in, indicating a jump of 246 more players from last weeks game and accumulating a total of $1.6 million for the pot.

Full Tilt also saw an increase in participation. This past weeks Guaranteed event had a nice turn out of 3,668 online poker fans, bringing the pot up to nearly the $750K guaranteed limit; Full Tilt had to only put up $16,400 of their own funds. The gamblers played throughout the weekend leaving only 'andressoprano' to battle it out with David 'Doc Sands' Sands. Doc Sands took the title and $132,787 prize money, leaving his opponent the second place amount of $80,250 for his efforts.
