It seems as if a streak of luck seems
to be spreading among online slot players in the internet casino community
this week, with two significant wins being logged in so far. The first of
which took place at a little known online gambling site called Go Casino;
the second was announced at the very popular and subsequently powerful
SlotLand.com. Both jackpots were struck by longtime winners, perhaps
demonstrating that continued play will occasionally make it all
worthwhile. The first win, the one at Go Casino.com, was taken by an online gambling fan with the name of CatherineM, who resides in California in the States. Catherine said that she had been frequenting the internet casino of choice for a number of years, but never had won such a significant amount, nearly making her a millionaire. Her game play at the progressive slot game Red, White, and Win cashed out a jackpot win of $990,529.74 – a pretty profit off of a bet that was made for only $7.50. The internet casino is powered by Vegas Technology. "This is not the first progressive win at Go Casino" said Danny Michaels, promotions manager for the casino. "But this is certainly the biggest one in our history. Our progressive jackpots were over 2 million dollars before Catherine's hit, so there's still over a million dollars to be won.” Catherine said that she intended to use most of the money to buy a house, in which she would live with her mother. Meanwhile, the lucky Californian wasn’t the only online gambler to strike it rich this week, with another online slot regular walking with plenty of cash. The second winner made her money at the famous SlotLand.com online casino, and signed on with the screen name of SouthBelle. After three years of play, she hit a $148,711 jackpot – not nearly as much as Catherine, but still plenty to celebrate over. The win was had at the Lucky Stars slot game, which is known for giving players five different chances at winning. The bonus round multiplies wins by 10, while a randomly generated ‘Hold’ feature lets players keep icons they want for an extra spin. |
