Some additional online gambling news has
become available from the newly liberalized nation of Italy this week as
an announcement by both Intralot Italia and the Game Account Network
confirm rumors that a new set of skill-based games will soon be launched
to gamblers in the Italian market, a fresh turn of change that will
include gamer favorites such as gin rummy, scopa, poker dice, briscola,
dominoes, backgammon and of course, multi-player blackjack. The announcement comes hot on the new software’s endorsement by the Italian regulation body AAMS. The new programming, developed through a joint venture between Game Account and Intralot, has passed the stringent set of tests, designed specifically to make sure that the new additions pass all national regulations laid out by the law. With the popularity and use of the Italian market surging since internet casinos became legal there last year, it becomes increasingly important to ensure that anxious new gamblers are protected by the law. The Italian laws actually outline a number of specific requirements for skill based games such as this new set, all of which have been met or surpassed, according to the AAMS accreditation. Skill gaming is still largely an unchartered territory in Italy, though Intralot has already jumped up the ranks for their sports betting option, currently ranked as the fifth largest sports betting company in the nation by measure of turnover. Most of their products can be accessed through Intralot.it The Intralot new online gambling skills site will be the latest member to join the Game Account Italian Network, already six strong. Tournaments run through the internet casino include both multi-table and single-table options, as well as some guaranteed money games, and heads-up opportunities. Players can select from live money options, or just go to Intralot.it or Gioker.it to play for fun. |
