The online gambling forums are blowing
up in regards to a rumor now confirmed, that two online casinos powered by
Rival software are having to seriously consider their futures, as the
contract with their software provider is called into question. Apparently,
both Royal Apollo and Planet23 online casinos have confirmed via a
representative for Royal Apollo’s affiliate management that the purse
strings are going to have to be tightened if the pair stand any chance of
not going under, with the first casualty being the breakage of their
agreement with Rival. The contract was broken with the internet gambling sites citing ‘ongoing issues’ with their software provider, though few details more specific than that have become available. Following the fall-out with Rival, the online casino Royal Apollo ceased to work, with players complaining of failed log-ons and prematurely ended games. Rival Gaming has been conveniently quiet, not responding to the player complaints, with some online gambling analysts wondering what the future holds for active accounts. “Due to the ongoing issues we are having with processing and Rival management we will be closing down our site in the next few days,” read the message posted on the Royal Casino website. “This decision was not easy, but the ongoing issues are not allowing us to offer these standards. We hope (we can't enforce this as its Rival that holds all fees) that Rival will respect and honor the current and future revenue that you are entitled to." Meanwhile, similar action was taken over at Planet23, with no response from their management team as to how long they expect the site to be down. The pair of sites were only launched a year ago, registered for operation through the Netherlands Antilles, through Curacao. |
