In fact, in-play betting is by some numbers the most popular wager to make in sports betting, with some estimates saying that as much as 65 percent of the gambles made during this summer’s World Cup were made when matches were already in action. One of the world’s largest internet gambling companies is hoping to take advantage of such a fact, as Ladbrokes announced this week on their renewed efforts to better improve their technology and services associated with in play betting. The company, based out of and primarily catering to the UK internet gambling market, said that the new software would be introduced and integrated into existing programming in phases, with the first of which launching in the next eight weeks. O’Reilly said that key pieces for players would include an expansion on the number and types of sports included in menus, as well as matches and betting options. Automated event feeds would be loaded into the new interface, and the company said that they were even willing to hire on new staff to ensure that customer service and the performance of the new sports betting line met the online gambling firm’s reputation for excellence. |
