Though it may be hard to believe in
spite of reality that online gambling sports betting sites will carry odds
and bets on just about anything, when it comes to special events, the
likelihood that the leaders of the UK and the US will announce the
existence of aliens has dropped this week. Yes, you read that correctly.
The internet casino bookies have dropped the odds on the possible presence
of alien nations in the universe, as well as the truth and reality of
unidentified flying objects, more commonly known as UFO’s. The reason for the change in odds seems just as ridiculous, as last week marked the expiration date on a fifty year ban placed by British Prime Minister Winston Churchill on all information or claims about UFOs. At the time, Churchill feared that talking of such things would incite fear among the UK residents, and result in a loss of faith in religions. Apparently, fifty years ago, a bomber pilot reported a sighting that incited the whole issue to be declared as Top Secret. The UFO sighting was apparently made off the east coast of England, after which the investigation, other sightings and any conclusions were deemed Top Secret, and forbidden to be released to the public, or acknowledged by authorities. That ban’s expiration this week has caused the believers in the online gambling world to hope that their political leaders will now have the wherewithal to admit that we are not alone. Visitors to online gambling sites carrying the bets will notice the odds have been slashed, going from a 1 in 100 chance, to 1 in 80 chance that either the US president, Barack Obama, or the UK Prime Minister, David Cameron will admit to alien existence. "We have had loads of calls. There are thousands of believers out there many of whom are putting their money on an imminent announcement,” said a spokesperson for William Hill to the Daily Mail. |
