With the online gambling game of poker growing in interest and popularity all over the world, it comes as no surprise that the leader in the internet casino world are doing their best to gain and keep as much as the market’s business as possible. Ladbrokes, already a dominator in the internet gambling community has launched their latest initiative in the online poker world, introducing through their poker website links to their new poker school. Diiferitiating themselves from many of the other poker schools, which aim to teach beginners how to play, and take amateurs to the next level of competition, the Ladbrokes poker school is streaming via video online through the website, making it more accessible to players than many of the other ‘schools.’ Launched this April, the Ladbrokes product will be streaming on air through PokerRadio.tv at 7pm. The school, as many do, bring in experts and teachers, leaders in the game to teach- the videos available through Ladbrokes right now are hosted by actor Nick Moran, known for his role in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, as well as Jon ‘skalie’ Kalmar, a professional player who is sponsored by the online casino. The videos are light-hearted in tone, bringing back the sense of ease and fun that some tournaments have lost, covering all the topics any skills range could need, such as ‘Getting Started,’ ‘How to Play Poker,’ ‘Bankroll Management,’ and even ‘Advanced Strategy.’ Video tutorials are supported by the adjacent poker articles, as well as poker podcasts, giving a multi-media experience to the schooling. Viewers simply select the topics they are interested in and they are on their way. The school has, for now, been scheduled over the next 8 weeks, with each week hosting a new topic loaded to the video stream. Tournaments are also offered to allow players a chance to practice their new skills. |
