As it was with the poke platform, the new bingo network is fully compliant with all of the regulations set forth by the Italian government for the internet gambling industry, and has been certified for launch by the Amministrazione Autonoma dei Monopoli di Stato (AAMS), the nation’s online gambling regulator. It’s no small step as the launch comes after months of operation in a “fun” mode, not utilizing real cash money, but rather pioneering the product with a play-money function. The “play money” was popular enough to given Playtech reason to move forward on the project, launching the live version of their bingo network to the Italian internet gambling community on April 1st.
