With time, the name eCOGRA becomes ever more synonymous with a sense of security for online gamblers, and therefore more essential for internet casino providers. One leader in the industry, already strong with a clientele list and customer fan base, Boss Media, has successfully completed the requisites demanded by eCOGRA for their certification, becoming the latest online gambling company to earn their Seal of Approval. It’s no secret that the requirements to earn such an accreditation are anything but easy. Boss Media, which is now part of the GTech G2 internet gambling group, was launched in 1996, and since then, has turned their experience in the industry into enduring success. Boss Media is currently the operator for the International Poker Network, and is the provider for games licensed to some of the biggest names in the online gambling industry, among them, Bet-at-Home, Svenska Spel, Sportingbet, and Bwin. The eCOGRA review was conducted under the management of Bradley Khoury, one of the Information Systems Auditors on the team, and a Chartered Accountant. He went on site with Boss Media to complete the comprehensive review, testing for compliance with all of the standards enforced by eCOGRA. One of the key tests is proving that the software developed is built, installed, and maintained in a secure and consistent manner, keeping operation as an important element in their business. Khoury was able to complete the review in a satisfactory manner, with the cooperation of the Process Manager Tom Svalaklev at his aid. "This is a highly respected industry company that has been active in the business for over a decade, and the process efficiencies and very high software quality reflect that," said Andrew Beveridge, after news of the accreditation was confirmed. Beveridge is the CEO for eCOGRA. "On behalf of eCOGRA's Independent Directors I congratulate Boss Media and its employees on a very professional effort." |
